Violence thrives and lives are torn,

And justice flawed, confused, and worn

What kind of future will we mourn?

What will our tomorrow be?

I couldn’t find the rightful way,

Unaware of rights they say,

Though law exists, it fades each day—

Will justice open eyes to see?

Just one weight and two divides,

The scales ignore our troubled side,

Our foes stand high, in power’s stride—

Who will rise to defend us all?

A Constitution’s more than ink,

Not stitched for kings to wear or drink,

Equality we want to see,

We won’t accept disparity.

What can we do to bring a change

And break the chains of our disdain?

We live oppressed, deprived, constrained,

Prisoners of our own despair.

We want a nation strong and true,

Not bound to luck or fate to view,

With justice clear in all we do—

That’s the faith we choose to bear.

We’ll follow always our own voice

To build a path, a fairer choice,

Where law has loyalty to care,

Where none need plead for their own share.
