This levitation, this transformation

My body boundless, a weightless sensation

The unknown approaching rapid, temperature increasing

Body brittle, pressure building, beaming to my natural ending

Horrified at the feeling of flesh tear

Is this really how it ends?

This body can’t sustain this levitation

Can’t sustain this ending

(shed) Shed the skin I’m in, return to bones

Feeling the warmth, feeling the pressure

Feeling the light as it passes through me

Pass through me, feel my weight decrease

Floating now, a feeling of wholeness

And a hopeful light, a feeling of bliss

Losing piece by piece, bit by bit

Feel the past, the present around me, all at once

The cycle complete

Levitate as time stands still

And elevate my essence to a new state of being

I’m still beaming

Beginning approaching the end

All at once, all together, grounded in everything

Roots are
