Bio 

Jazz Pills was formed in the summer of 2010 by Kevin Spector and Michael Koutsoubis. Ater spending years as rival members of the best two bands in a high school with two bands, the duo began writing and recording ideas in the basement of Koutsoubis' home in Long Island, NY. In August of 2010, Jazz Pills caught a huge break upon the realization that they could falsely market and release a live compilation album without prior releases or ever having performed outside of the basement. Glass Pillow (Live at MSG) was released in early September 2010 to critical acclaim from friends and family of the band, going on to sell 3 copies on iTunes alone. Spector grew weary of his newfound fame and put the band on a brief hiatus to finish his undergraduate studies. In February of 2011, rumors that the band was back in the studio proved true with the release of Modern Leniency EP. The EP, and titular track in particular, were praised highly on social media sites such as reddit.com, with some users going as far as claiming that the release was
