Moray received choral training at the National Boys' Choir of Scotland and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Junior Chorus. At the age of 11, Glasgow born Moray West became known to a wider audience when he, as a member of the group Angelis, managed by Simon Cowell, released the album "Angelis" in 2006. Their album sold well and went platinum status, selling over 350,000 copies and reaching Number 2 on the UK charts. In 2013, Moray and his father released the album "Scotland Boy", a collection of Scottish, Classical and Pop music. Moray then spent several years teaching music in China, and can now speak Chinese. Moray has made it known that in 2023 he will release new music.
