Ketsa is London based producer Dominic Giam. He has been involved in the music industry since 1997, initially as a free party and techno DJ.
The Past...
The DJing led him to Prime Distribution, a large and successful independent music distributor, home of many exclusive techno labels and artists including Adam Beyer, Ben Simms, Dave Angel and many more. Here, under the name Shaolin, he signed to the Endangered Species label, an offshoot of Primate Recordings, and featured on two Funky Monkeys releases with Ade Fenton, Chris McKormak, Steve Murray, Jel Ford and Woody McBride. He also started his own label, Hydrophonic Recordings and featured on four releases including his own, 'The Mean Green EP' featuring remixes by UK Gold and Extec on coloured vinyl, gaining support from artists like Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink and Carl Cox. This record was being dropped on sweaty dance floors both sides of the Atlantic! The success of this release saw Shaolin play at many Primate nights, including a set in Croatia to five thousand people.
After Prime Distribution, Dominic dropped the name Shaolin and reinvented himself as Ketsa, making a totally different style of music. With the start of Soapsud City, a West London Electronica label in 2005, Ketsa released three albums -  Thoughts, End Daze and Remixes and Reedits, getting critical acclaim in DJ mag (Nov 2007) and The ***** ***** (05/05/07). He then left the Soapsud City camp to start his own label, End Daze Recordings. He released two albums of his own, Aquarius Unfolds and Enoch's Constellation, getting great reviews from Clash magazine (edition 33) and Hearing is Believing blogspot.' For downbeat compositions with bite, enter the world of Ketsa.' Jon Freer, Hearing is Believing...'All compositions display an intelligence few in the genre can match' Tristan Parker, Clash magazine edition 33. His song 'Untold' on Aquarius Unfolds was played by Radio 1‘s Pathaan on BBC's Asian network.
Other releases included a track for Stuttgart label Mutan Records, which featured German legends The KLF. His song Mindlapse from Aquarius Unfolds was used by Wu Tang associate Killah Priest, which is still to be released - preview here. Ketsa has also released four albums for the great internet label BFW Recordings as well as featuring on many compilations. His album X Inside has received over 11,500 downloads.
The Present...
Ketsa has been working hard in the studio and has produced an album ‘Ketsonica’, due to be released at the end of May. You can preview the tracks off the album here. 
Now under the management of his brother he can concentrate on what he does best...producing quality music.
