Bethany Joy Galeotti (born Bethany Joy Lenz; April 2, 1981) is an American actress, musician, director, producer and writer. 
 
Trained by the director of The Brooklyn College of Opera, Galeotti plays the guitar and piano, and writes her own music. Galeotti has independently released two albums and is now a part of the band Everly. 
 
On screen, Galeotti is best known for her portrayals of Michelle Bauer Santos on Guiding Light (from 1998 to 2000) and Haley James Scott on One Tree Hill (since 2003). Galeotti's stage credits include collaborating with Garry Marshall and Carole King on a new musical, as well as working with director Arthur Allan Seidelman on a production of The Outsiders. Galeotti and music producer Ron Aniello are mounting a musical workshop based on The Notebook.
