Neil Brough is principal trumpet with Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s English Baroque Soloists and the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique. He has toured the world with them, and many of the UK’s top orchestras, often making CD recordings and radio and television broadcasts. He has also played on numerous feature films and television soundtracks including Black Swan, Monsters Vs. Aliens, Robin Hood, Judge John Deed. 
 
He has recorded Bach Cantata 51 with Natalie Dessay for Virgin Classics, and has featured as a soloist alongside great singers such as James Bowman, Emma Kirkby and John Tomlinson. 
 
His high note playing in Bach’s second Brandenburg Concerto has been described as “absolutely astonishing” and “awe-inspiring” by the national press. His CD recording with the EBS & Gardiner recieved much aclaim and he perfrormed it live on radio & on TV at the Proms in 2010. 
 
Neil is Professor of Natural Trumpet at the Royal College of Music.
