Hailing from dirty Detroit, Gabe's sound consists of an eclectic mixture of influences ranging from techno and minimal to tech-house and ghetto-tech. Blending a tapestry on the dancefloor that has been described as unique, jackin and digitally funky, when Gabe is behind the decks one thing is certain; it's a guarantee that you will be shaking your a**! He's the man behind Detek and responsible for the widely successful "Summer Sessions" Thursday night parties in Greektown. As an event production group, Detek continues to set new standards for techno events in the city the music was born in. Having been a DJ for 14 years, he has been fortunate enough to travel and play music alongside many of his most respected musical influences. He’s currently busy developing the Detek record label and honing his skills in the studio with the goal of releasing music that will redefine people’s expectations of Detroit techno.
