小简介 
 
Damon Aaron grew up in the foothills of LA playing folk and country music with his family and noodling with radio shack synthesizers. He began to get serious about songwriting while working towards a degree in fine arts at UC Santa Cruz. Throughout the 90’s, he led soul and hip-hop bands in LA singing and mc-ing, and played guitar for others like the Breakestra, The Rebirth and seminal hip-hop artist Divine Styler. Eventually, he began working with several percussionists and developing a style informed by hip-hop, as well his interest in traditional folkloric and soul music of all kinds. 
 
He continues to make beats and work with artists like Build An Ark, Najite and the Olokun Prophecy, and collaborate with critically acclaimed electronic artists like Telefon Tel Aviv and Barbara Morgenstern. He's a past nominee for Gilles Peterson's Worldwide winners and the LA Weekly music awards. He's also been featured on several influencial compilations including: Rewind!3(Ubiquity), Dublab Presents: Freeways(Emperor Norton), and Impeach The Precedent(Kajmere). 
 
He lives and works in Altadena, producing his own brand of personal and eclectic soul music.
