TOMY BEWICK 
 
Tomy Bewick is a performance poet and sometimes subliminal writer. He is the creator of 揙pen Minds Respect Events and co-creator of the Burlington Slam Project. Tomy has released 2 collections of poetry and 2 spoken word CD抯 since starting out in 2003. Tomy is a member of the Toronto Slam Family as well as the Dream Chasers (a spoken word trio). Tomy has featured and competed throughout Canada and the US and placed 2nd in Canada (with the Up From The Roots Team) in 2007 and 2008. Tomy is currently serving as the 2009 alternate for the Toronto Poetry Slam Team and placed 3rd (with his Wildcard Team) at the 2009 Rustbelt Poetry Slam.
