Lux Divina was founded by Norax in Gavà near Barcelona in Catalonia (Spain) in 1998. The first line-up consisted of Endymion (guitar), Iván (bass), Sergio (drums) and Norax (vocals). After eight months of song writing the band records the first demo “Paganature”. \n 1999-2000 Fiar (Foscor) joins the band handling keyboards, effects and occasionally even playing bass. After their live debut and then a few more local gigs, the band again entered the studio to record the first EP “Occasus Caeremonia”. Then Endymion and Ivan left the band to be replaced by Falke (Foscor) as the new guitarist and Wilhkiem (Foscor, Shemhamphorash) as bassist respectively. \n In 2003 “Our Lost Harmony” is released to showcase three songs which represent another step in the evolution of the bands musical style. \n In 2004 Bloody Productions offers a collaboration to release the latest compositions together with a collection of old material summarized on one CD entitled “New Days For The Ancient Wisdom”. \n 2007 Lux Divina are back to work on new compositions with a new line-up. Two new guitar players Daniel and Gangreal (Argar, Between the Frost) and a new bass player Iberian (Doomsday, 7th Child) join the band. \n The new line-up records “From The Tomb To Natures Blood” in 2009, the first full-length so far. U.S. label Ars Magna Recordings shows interest in working with the band. The album receives good reviews worldwide (Terrorizer, Decibel Storm, Heavy Metal Cosmos etc.) and represents Lux Divina as a quality band with good ideas in the global metal underground scene. After the recording of the album Daniel decides to leave the band to pursue other projects. His replacement is Javi Bastard (Graveyard, Wolfhead), owner of Moontower studios. \n 2010-2011I After many years of line-up changes the band finally settles to a serious and strong line-up. Lux Divina record a song for the official tribute to the 20th anniversary of Norwegian band Enslaved. \n 2012 the bands signs to the management agency Stygia Promotions (Avulsed, Foscor, Helevorn, Scar Symmetry, Machetazo, Numen, etc). Currently the band is busy recording their second LP, which will be released later this year.
