.F.O.A.D. [F**K OFF AND DIE] is a Metal band from Lyon, France.Its Death Thrash Stoner F**kin’ Hard Core Grind Metal.
The band was founded in January 2009 by three ex.DOGMAT’, Lionel (vox), Nicolas (bass) and Pierre (guitars). Julien on drums (CLEKTIC) joined forces soon after..F.O.A.D. worked on original materials and proposed a Metal with a mix of influences.
During 2009 the band played 11 times in and around Lyon, with such bands as OESTRE, STONEBURST, OIL CARTER, ACOD, BIBLE OF THE DEVIL (from USA) or BACKSTROKE (from Reunion Island).
The first demo « F**K OFF AND DIE » was only available on myspace at the beginning of the year.
On july, Thierry (from BLUE TURN) took the second guitar.
At the end of the year, Pierre was out for musical divergences.
The end of 2010 saw the band crossing the Atlantic Ocean to play Cuba. The tour was settled down by DEADLY SIN ORGY (from Switzerland) and BRUTAL BEATDOWN RECORDS from Cuba.
The BRUTAL FEST TOUR was unforgatable, and .F.O.A.D. became the first French metal band to play on the island.
Thierry left the band on june 2011, and was replaced by Christophe (from CLEKTIC). Then Clément left the band for a while, in order to integrate the Music Academy International (M.A.I.).
The demo is edited as a free .E.P. (november the 21st, 2011).
.F.O.A.D., as a quatuor, took the road again and toured the south of France (Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Grenoble, …).
After having given more than 1000 E.P. « REMORSE… IS FOR THE DEAD », the band wants to use it for promotion, labels, distributions and booking.
Since june 2012 , Clément is back and .F.O.A.D. is recording its debut album called « THE BRINGER OF DEATH ». It will be released on March the 31st 2014 (M&O MUSIC).
