PRYME started his (professional) musical career as a rapper for the Dutch formation KING BEE, in 1989. 
After storming up the national and international charts (22 countries, worldwide) with the Hip-hop classics ‘Back by Dope demand’ and ‘Must Bee the music’, while touring, they finished their album ‘Royal Jelly’, for which they were received an EDISON award (Best New Dutch Rap/Dance act,1990). 
That same year they were awarded a STANTON award, in the same category.
