BLACK MARIAH (slang for a police van used to transport prisoners) was founded in 2011, when tattoo-legend Danny Bullman and bassplayer Steve Destiny decided that it was about time to stop fooling around and start rocking. Soon B.B. Newman, who was a customer at Dannys tattoo shop, joined and took over the  guitar parts. A lucky coincidence made Farid Leonhartsberger beat the hell out of his drums for BLACK MARIAH and finally Filthy Phil on guitar came up as a perfect match to B.B s style of playing. Dannys voice gives the rough sound that rocknroll always should have had. Powerful riffs and twin harmonic solos and twin harmonic rhythms are the main features in BLACK MARIAHs sound - a mixture of Thin Lizzy, Motörhead, Mötley Crüe, Godsmack and lots of other rock gods leaves the audience stunned after every show.
