BIOGRAPHY - Chia
Chia, aka Ellie Bekka Gonzalvez, is a versatile young artist of British-Indian heritage.
She was brought up in southern Spain in a uniquely diverse family where each of her (adopted) siblings comes from a different corner of the world. She's fluent in both English and Spanish. 
Chia, now 17 (in 2018), started her music education early, while studying at the famed Sotogrande International School. She now studies at the BIMM institute in Birmingham. Before long, she was performing at virtually all of her school’s concerts and quickly gained a reputation as one of the best performers and singers around. 
When she was just 14 she was discovered by MMI Studios in Spain and signed up for a development deal. A little while later the music industry started to take note. She was soon picked up for a management deal with DJL Management in London and various major as well as midsized record labels started showing their interest shortly thereafter. This interest increased after the German-based Sicnature production team signed up to remix some of Chia’s tracks. 
Chia has been a good student throughout her high-school years, always managing to combine her passion for music with her academic pressures. While studying she has also carried out extensive charity work on locations in Africa while participating in the Modern United Nations projects. She has donated all the proceeds from her public appearances and work to those charities.
She is an inspired singer/songwriter and a passionate lover of all kinds of music.
