西班牙女声Melodic Death Metal乐队，组建于2006年。
 
The idea of creating Corelyn emerged by the summer of 2006, when Diego Torres (the guitar player), started looking for musicians in order to make his musical proyect into reality. Diego’s idea was to create a band which mixed the more forceful riffs of metal and hardcore with melodic parts of a feminine voice.
Diego, an animals’ rights supporter and vegan, in his words tells us about every living being’s right to life and respect, and also about the feelings which drive our lives. After an exhaustive search by the beginning of 2007, Corelyn consolidates its formation. Joan Jimenez at the drums, Carlos Castillo at the bass, Lluis Huguet at the guitar, Kike Soriano in the guttural voice, and Marta Brucart, with her melodic voice, all joined Diego, starting off for the first time together, forming the Melodic Death Metal Band “Corelyn”. In 2008, they gave a concert. Corelyn could not have done it better.
In the same year they decided to give shape to their songs and expressed them into their first work called “Inside the core”, where we can find the theme “Rivers of mercy” which they got national and international acclaim.
After that, they gave much more concerts, such as: in the Mephisto bar with Haggard band. In the same year, they were proclaimed winners of “Cortocircuit 2008” competition in Santa Coloma de Gramenet.
By the following years and due to several reasons, Corelyn’s components changed. Joan is replaced by Juanma Ávila, Lluis leaves the band and Carlos starts playing the guitar and Patricia Pardo comes into the group to play the bass. In 2011 Corelyn recorded its first video clip of “Rivers of mercy” theme, where Carlos did not perform and the melodic voice is represented by Silvia Nasa. In the same year, Yanet Valmorisco, the new component of the band, started making guttural and melodic voices, previously made by two other components. Thanks to the videoclip and for having won the national competition “Planet Rox”, Corelyn travels to Quebec (Canada), being part of their first international festival, “Envol et Macadam”, where they share lineup with bands like “As I Lay Dying”, “The Exploited”, “Protest the Hero”, “Rise Against” etc… And it is in this festival where Alex Gorg, the new guitar player of the band, made his debut, in place of Carlos after he left.
In 2012, there was a before and an after in the project, because Corelyn changed almost all its components, and in March of 2013, the new band sets up. Alik Santiago “Spiderman”, at the drums, Rubén Pérez at the bass, Eneko Donoso at the guitar and Camilo Mina as lead singer, they joined Diego on stage of Corelyn. Immediately, they started new concerts and in June they made known in the “Rising fest 2013”, in the local Estraperlo. In November of 2013, Camilo left the band and Carla Sevillano, who was responsible for all voice, took his place. She debuts on the fifth of December in Razzmatazz local, beside Betraying the Martyrs.
In 2014, Diego Torres, creator of the Corelyn project, leaves the band and in his place joins Adrià Baiges, who plays lead guitar. It is also in 2014 when they finish their second work "We are fénix", recorded again at “Jailden estudios (Sabadell)”, that they hope to promote at national and international level.
