Cryogen Second was originally formed in 2005 as a solo project by frontman Eric Sochocki. Currently located in Nashville, Tennessee; the band is quickly generating a buzz as one of the up and coming ebm acts in the United States. They have been best described as a sonic mesh of solid production, noise and industrial rhythms, trance sensibilities, strong hooks, a tinge of metal, with straightforward lyrics; and sidechain, lots of sidechain; music that nods to new american electro like Le Castle Vania and Ocelot; an eclectic sound that holds true to the aggressive, nihilist industrial.
