西尔万·古尔利（SYLVAIN GOURLAY），钢琴家和作曲家，1985年5月15日生于法国布洛瓦。自7岁起开始演奏钢琴，不出几年便赢得音乐学院奖项。随后他将兴趣转向现代音乐（流行、电子、爵士和摇滚），为他的创作注入全新的灵感。与同期作曲家一同探讨与即兴创作，诞生了大量的钢琴独奏。大部分灵感来源于萨蒂、德彪西、肖邦和拉赫曼尼诺夫，但也有着全新的风格。 
   
 2010年初，西尔万发行了个人首张专辑《瞬息》，记录短暂的音乐瞬间，由法国XIII Bis Records/华纳进行编辑，MVS Anticraft公司发行。同时他也为编舞老师和舞蹈家创作乐曲。从这些极具画面感的作品中，我们不难发现西尔万对涉足电影音乐的意愿。最近，他就为法国安盛集团纪实片《长寿之旅》谱写了配乐。

在2012年发行了个人首张专辑《瞬间》之后，Sylvain Gourlay又带来了他的新专辑《Piano Sounds》，并且此次的新专辑有两种不同风格的展示，包含了13首单曲。 
   
 SYLVAIN GOURLAY - born May 15th 1985 in Blois, France, originally from Brittany, is a pianist and composer. He started playing the piano aged 7 and started being awarded conservatory prizes only several years later. He then focused his interest on contemporary music (pop music, electro music, jazz and rock music) that brought up a new inspiration for his writing. Meeting and improvising with fellow composers such as Levinas, Mulsant, Jolas, Pécou, Markeas or Hersant, he wrote numerous pieces for solo piano. They were all greatly inspired by Satie, Debussy, Chopin, Rachmaninov but also from innovative styles (Glass, Jarrett, Gonzales and Tellier). At the beginning of 2010, he wrote his first album called Momentaneus, ephemeral musical moments.... In the meantime, he worked hand in hand with several choreographers and so wrote for dancers. (Tango's Project Quartet, 14²). Those pieces of art are obviously linked to the image and the picture and it wasn't surprising to learn Sylvain wanted to write music for the cinema. Thus, he wrote his album keeping this goal in mind. He recently wrote the soundtrack of the AXA documentary "A journey into longevity". His first album, entitled Momentaneus and supported by Paris Jeunes Talents for Dolala Records is distributed by MVS Anticraft and edited by XIII Bis Records/Warner. 

After a first album “Momentaneus” released in 2012, Sylvain Gourlay is back in the center stage with his new two-sided project entitled “Piano Sounds.” 
While performing with and composing music for different artists, Sylvain Gourlay caught the eye of several producers/DJs of the international electro scene.  They agreed to remix the tracks off his new solo album according to their personal vision of each track based on their own identity and musical sensitivity.
Produced by record label 13bis Music, “Piano Sounds,” scheduled to come out this spring, offers a discovery of thirteen new tracks and just as many solo piano remixes.
“Having finished working on my thirteen piano solo tracks, I was excited to listen to the work of the different respected artists/producers who confronted my piano universe to electro music  (Charles Schillings, Charles Webster, Alexkid, Atjazz, Ludovic Llorca, Readymade FC, Tim Baker, Kyodai, Anita Dinamite, Tserb, Damien Almira aka TimidBoy) ”  Sylvain Gourlay.
This new album “Piano Sounds” is an invitation to explore, travel, escape and dream.

 SYLVAIN GOURLAY - né le 15 Mai 1985 à Blois, d'origine bretonne, est un pianiste et compositeur français. Il commence le piano à l'âge de 7 ans et obtient quelques années plus tard des premiers prix en conservatoire. Il s'intéresse par la suite à la musique actuelle (pop, électro, jazz, rock) qui lui amène une inspiration nouvelle pour l'écriture. En rencontrant et improvisant avec des compositeurs contemporains comme Levinas, Mulsant, Jolas, Pécou, Markeas ou Hersant, il écrit différentes pièces pour piano solo inspirées de Satie, Debussy, Chopin, Rachmaninov et d'autres styles (Glass, Jarrett, Gonzales, Tellier). En début d'année 2010, il compose son premier recueil de morceaux nommé Momentaneus, moments musicaux éphémères… Parallèlement, il collabore avec plusieurs chorégraphes et compose pour la danse (Tango's Project Quartet et 14²). Ces compositions sont évidemment liées à l'image, et donc au cinéma, ce qui rend ces pièces très adaptées à la musique de film. Il a d'ailleurs composé récemment la publicité et le documentaire pour AXA « A journey into Longevity ». Son premier album Momentaneus, soutenu par Paris Jeunes Talents sous le label Dolala Records est distribué par MVS Anticraft et édité par XIII Bis Records/Warner.
