Otchenga Zoom is the pseudonym of the indie electronic music producer, songwriter and musician Igor Tsvetkoff.

His way in music was pretty interesting and unusual.

Music became his greatest passion when he was 12.

"...Pink Floyd, ELO, Vangelis, etc. Those were the most beautiful things I've ever felt! The idea to live life of professional musician was fascinating me " Igor said.

Unfortunately he had no music education when the time to choose his life career has come.

Igor was from honest medical family and he had continued family tradition.

But he done even more. He became the first and very famous private physician of naturopathy in his city.
As very talented person he had quickly noticed that all his patients physical problems had psychological roots. He realized the main things the good doctor should be interested in were:
Do you like your career?... Do you really love your spouse?... Do you enjoy your life?...

One day doctor Tsvetkoff had asked himself the same questions... He started to take private piano lessons at the age of 35.
And that decision opened the door to a lot of new information, impressions and meetings.

He was deeply impressed by Richard Bach's "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" and "Illusions".
He discovered a huge world of electronic music and the fact that many of his favorite world-known musicians had no music education at all.
And the last straw was an information that his home PC could be transformed to an absolutely completed professional music studio.

"I felt it was something that I was looking for... It seemed like my childhood dreams were coming true" Igor said.

So.

Sometimes Igor recall his medical years... He find that time was very good. Those were the years of his personal evolution and it was great experience that let him to rise to a new level -- the level of Otchenga Zoom, an Artist of a Sound. "

Otchenga Zoom's music is affected by his rich life experience and many music genres he was impressed by.

"I've started late and I've no time for making beginner's mistakes. So I do select each sound carefully and put to its precise place of the whole sound picture" OZ said.
