个人简历
专职作曲、编曲、影像、剧场、游戏音乐等类别制作。自西乐起家，跨足至世界音乐与台湾传统音乐。以传承与发扬台湾传统音乐文化为己任。
异境乐团专辑《流光传奇》入围金曲 32 两项演奏类奖项以及荣获全球音乐奖 Global Music Awards 三大金奖，以北管元素描写东港迎王平安祭典之曲目《代天》获屏东联合管乐团管乐作品试演计划首奖，歌仔戏跨界七字调创作〈厌世调〉获台湾原创流行音乐大奖河洛语组佳作，北管跨界展演《三郎》中编曲作品〈浮世〉获 myfone 行创奖原创歌曲首奖。曾于 TGDF 游戏开发者论坛举办讲座，亦曾受传艺双月刊、台北画刊、CakeResume 科技职涯、国立教育广播电台拍律游乐园、Evoked 承志等单位专访并公开刊载。
四岁起学习古典钢琴、六岁小提琴、十二岁开始接触吉他，并以主要乐器活跃于各类型演出。长年深入北管、歌仔戏与南管等台湾传统音乐。近年醉心于世界音乐，持续密集学习日本能乐、雅乐、印度尼西亚甘美朗等。合作歌手包括阿爆、陈建玮、罗文裕、汤宇歆等，演奏场合横跨世界音乐节、卫武营新年音乐会、台北市传统艺术季、客家音乐节、儿童艺术节等。
创作是为了建构出全新的声响体验，揉合传统与现代，尝试在不和谐中寻找属于自己的和谐。
Biography
From Taipei, Taiwan, Sherwin Yang's creative endeavors encompass a wide range of categories, including composition, music arrangement, film, theatre, and video game music.
Yang currently works as an independent music practitioner and a member of Spectro 7. The album Stream Legend by Spectro 7 with Yang’s involvement has received substantial acclaim, landing a spot on the shortlist for the Golden Melody Awards and securing three esteemed Golden Global Music Awards. "Divine Emissaries," a composition intricately woven with elements of Pak-koán music for the Donggang Wangye Worshipping Ceremony, has received the First Prize at the Pingtung Symphonic Band’s Composition Contest, while "Half Empty," a fusion of Taiwanese opera embracing seven-word chanting poetry, was granted an Honorable Mention in the Hoklo category at the Taiwan Music Composition and Songwriting Contest. In addition, "Earthly Paradise," featured in the interdisciplinary Pak-koán performance Sanlang, has earned the distinction of Best Original Song at the myfone Mobile Creative Awards.
Starting from classical piano, violin, and guitar, Yang has been active in various types of performances for many years with these Western instruments. Later, he ventures into Taiwanese and world music, taking it upon himself to preserve and promote Taiwan's traditional music culture. He delves into various forms of Taiwanese traditional music such as Pak-koán, Koa-á-hì(Taiwanese Opera), and Lâm-koán, while maintaining a continuous immersion in the study of Japanese Noh and Gagaku music, Indonesian Gamelan, among others.
