John Flanagan approaches things in a decidedly bolder fashion than most of his industry peers, and he likes it that way.  Boston-born, yet Nashville-based John has spent the majority of his career perfecting the thrill of his dynamic stage presence.  Rarely seen since the glory days of Freddie Mercury and Robert Plant, Flanagan writes melodies that are familiar yet stray into the arena of glam-rock to create a cutting edge, falsetto driven style.In late 2005, Flanagan moved to Nashville and immediately began performing as lead vocalist of rock outfit, The Gilly.  Flanagan left The Gilly in pursuit of corporate gigs, and has played venues from Georgia to Texas, and Oklahoma to Oregon.  Flanagan’s love of performance culminated in February 2010 when he beat out 200 artists to become the face and voice of MGM/Foxwoods Casino.With the win in his pocket, Flanagan has turned his focus towards securing a place in the recording industry by stocking his arsenal of original material.  He plans to introduce his freshly energetic perspective on a jaded music market to incite a new generation of fans.  Currently in production, his 6-song EP is due for release in 2010.  Flanagan continues to cement his unique sound that pairs synth-based intrigue with glam-rock, all the while maintaining a firm footing in the unabashedly satisfying realm of pop music.
