After internal tensions in the band Negură Bunget, Hupogrammos and Sol Faur left the band to form Dordeduh, while drummer Negru continued Negură Bunget with new musicians.
"Dordeduh" comes from three Romanian words, annexed together. "Dor de duh" means "Longing for spirit".
