Directed by Tonino Battista, the ECHP Park Contemporary Music Ensemble is made up of musicians of contemporary European able to interpret and convey the diverse and manifold richness of the music of today.
The project, born and raised in the course of the different seasons of Contemporary Music Foundation Music for Rome at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, has been developed as a modular group of musicians called from time to time to carry out different projects. The Ensemble brings together, in addition to some young musicians, the best soloists from bands like Alter Ego and Ars Ludi, interpreters who have worked closely with composers such as Karlheinz Stockhausen, Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Terry Riley, Gavin Bryars, Salvatore Sciarrino, Donatoni and Giorgio Battistelli. The PMCE collaborated on projects produced by the Musica per Roma Foundation and represented in tours abroad (Berlin Konzerthaus-Het Amsterdam Theatre, Nueva Music-Buenos Aires, Swiss Radio-Lugano, WPAF-Lahore).
