by Matt CollarGerman musician, actor, and televison personality Frank Zander is a well-known in Germany and is often recognized for his biting humor. Born in Berlin in 1942, Zander first gained success as a member of the pop group Gloomy Moon Singers. By the 1970s, Zander had gone solo and released a handful of albums, including some under the alias Fred Sunshine. In subsequent years, Zander has continued to release albums, often in a comedic novelty pop style, as well as host televison shows.
