Annette Navarro is an American singer-songwriter, actress, and model. The Miami native is proud of her Spanish heritage and loves to perform in both English and Spanish markets. Annette studied vocal technique and began to perform in her community at the age of 12. With her continued vocal training and a growing passion for acting, she attended the Broadway Theatre Project as an apprentice at the age of 16, where she decided she would pursue music, theater and dance. She later enrolled at the University of Miami for Musical Theater and received a Bachelor of Music degree. Throughout that time she was also an apprentice at the American Theater Wing’s Springboard program and a member of the GrammyU association. After graduation, she continued her studies as an apprentice at The Performing Arts Project.
Thrilled to be releasing her newest single “Falling For You”, Annette hopes to reveal the vulnerable yet exhilarating perspective of falling head over heels. A true romantic at heart, she captures the fun yet clever honesty that is the essence of this story. Her songs are a collection of real life inspirations sung through catchy melodies, a strong vocal presence, and a genuine spirit. “Falling For You” is sweet, funny, charming, and inevitably contagious.
Annette has been featured in Telemundo’s Dama y Obrero, La Casa de al Lado, Alguien Te Mira, and several of their telenovelas, and has modeled for PNC Bank, Just Live Apparel, Sculptor Body Massager, and Liu Jo Fashion. She has also enjoyed working on independent films, voice over work, and local theater companies including the very experimental Micro Theater Miami. With roles like Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Carmen (Fame), Lil’Bit (How I Learned to Drive) and Marisol (Jose Rivera’s Marisol), Annette has enjoyed exploring a diversity of characters in both plays and musical theater.
