Craig Michael Wiseman (born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi) is an American country music songwriter. Active since the late 1980s as a songwriter, he has had his songs recorded by Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, LeAnn Rimes, and several other acts. He has written over a dozen songs that have peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs music charts, and has won a number of industry awards.His credits include the Number One singles "The Good Stuff" by Kenny Chesney and "Live Like You Were Dying" by Tim McGraw, which were declared by Billboard as the Number One country songs for the years of 2002 and 2004, respectively; "Live Like You Were Dying" also earned Wiseman the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Country Song.
