Hailing from the Central Valley of Modesto California, Forever Obscured was formed in late 2010 with the final lineup by early spring of 2011. Guitarist Ricky Cantu envisioned a band that would stand out above all the rest. Justin Villa, was introduced to Ricky at a local metal show, the two began to talk about forming a band, Ricky had written some material and asked for Justin to assist him with it. Justin wrote parts that would solidify his position as a formidable guitarist to the lineup. The two searched far and wide for a drummer that would have the capabilities to create the sound of what was to become Forever Obscured. In the midst of the search for a drummer, the two are introduced to Roel Guajardo through a family member on the Cantu side, Roel's style of playing fit the mold of what Rick & Justin wanted. Soon after Roel joined as a member, With Roel & Justin as members all that was needed next was a vocalist and a bassist. Joe Salazar a longtime friend of Roel was approached to do vocals. Joe, originally a guitarist and was entertaining the idea of being a vocalist for some time, Joe's vocals became the perfect fit for the brutal complex nature of the band. Andres Cervantes, a bassist and family friend of the Salazar's expressed interest in joining upon learning that Joe was to be the vocalist. Joe & Andy originally played in a local band together, the chemistry between the two was a given, the lineup was in full force by the beginning of 2011 so fierce that it triggered an earthquake that left the Fukushima in ruins. This is Forever Obscured.
