TERRORTEK X is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/producer Nivek Tek. Nivek has been most known for his extensive career in the club and dance music world. He currently runs the record labels ISV Entertainment and Diabolic Records as well as the electronic music promotions company PROMO RUSH. He is also known as an artist, producer and remixer. Besides doing remixes for multiple artists, Nivek has released his own singles " Hold Me Now" and "A Little Respect" which featured Italo disco Diva Carol Hahn. Nivek has always loved, collected and spun Industrial, techno and EBM music. The ominous rhythms and the hard pounding beats spoke to him in a way no other genre of music could. He always wanted to explore this musical side of himself, but was always busy with other ventures. However, now in 2012 Nivek felt that it was time to finally tap into his dark side and unleash his own unique brand of techno terrorism on an unsuspecting world.
Nivek, aka VX-13 leads the TERRORTEK X army into the tenebrous recesses of your fears with morbid, disturbing, cutting edge songs with a somewhat controversial, political and foreboding slant. TERRORTEK X stands for "Terror Technicians From Hell" and the X stands for Generation X (the doomed generation). VX-13 and SARIN-X are appropriately named after two of the most deadliest gasses known to man.
Nivek invited his musical partner in crime Keith Kemper to join the TERRORTEK X army for his debut EP "Bio Chemical Warfare". Keith, aka SARIN-X, combined his incredible technical and production skills with Nivek's creative songwriting and production skills to create this sinister and disturbing masterpiece. Though Keith is a newcomer to the EBM and Industrial genre, he is no stranger to the music industry. With a slew of hit singles and remixes under his belt, Keith has become an international sensation.
TERRORTEK X combines two of Nivek's loves, horror movies and dance music.
"Bio Chemical Warfare" carries a strong political and extremely controversial message that is based on extensive research, some of which is thought to be made up of conspiracy theories. It is about the very real threat of depopulation. The song suggests in a tongue in cheek manner that your government is trying to kill you though a variety of ways such as being poisoned by gasses, sprays, chemicals, toxins and bacterias. It is a widely popular belief that many diseases are man made with the intent to decrease the population. By decreasing the population our world would be better off. Less people populating and polluting the planet means a healthier, safer environment and a stronger economy. "Bio Chemical Warfare" is a satiric commentary on these controversial beliefs, and to serve as a sort of warning of the possibility of these atrocities.
