George Lu is a Taiwanese Mandarin pop music lyricist, composer, arranger, producer, and keyboardist.
He began his journey in pop music composition during college, and over the past decade, his behind-the-scenes music career has spanned various areas such as pop music, commercial scoring, and live concert performances. His songwriting contributions can be found in numerous albums or singles by well-known artists, including Rene Liu, Angela Chang, Della Ding, Claire Kuo, Meilin Luo, Freya Lim, Sharon Kwan, Ruo-fan Zhang, Yvonne Xie, Hong-ren Xiao, Coke Lee. He has also participated as a keyboardist in many artists' commercial performances or concerts, accumulating rich performing experience. Some of the artists he has collaborated with include William Wei, Wayne Huang, Wanfang Lin, Claire Kuo, Freya Lim, Murmurshow Band, Sherry Cheng, and Wen-fang Wu.
In January 2024, he released his debut EP "MIND," featuring three songs that emanate from the inner soul, with themes revolving around trauma, awareness, and self-acceptance. It is a pop music work that aims to heal both the creator and the audience.
