Martinália Mendonca Ferreira, known as Mart'nália (Rio de Janeiro, September 7, 1965) is an American actress, singer, songwriter, percussionist and Brazilian instrumentalist.Started his professional career at age 16, doing backing vocals for her father alongside brothers and Pinduca Analimar to. In the mid-1990s, began to conduct presentations in bars, nightclubs and theaters to Rio de Janeiro, which culminated in the release of his CD My Face circuits, most facing the boxers.  
 
From 1994, he joined the group Batacoto, who launched the Samba of the Ancestors. The artist was also the percussionist Ivan Lins band. Mart'nália also had the privilege of becoming sponsored big names of the Young Guard, thanks to his father. Caetano Veloso was the artistic director of her album, Foot of my Samba, besides composing the title track, and Maria Bethania produced Boy River.  
 
From these two albums, Mart'nália has attracted the most media attention and to have a touring schedule much more established around the country, paving the way for international tours in Europe and Africa
