Portland extreme music wizards IRONSERPENT harness universal energy, skill, and bedlam to create a focused ray of savage melodic death metal. Formed from the remnants of various metal projects, IRONSERPENT began pummeling the Pacific Northwest after guitarist Brian Chambers met drummer Wade Murff at a Portland gas station. Chambers had been writing songs with long-time friends Skylar Harris, Steve-O Danger-Smith, and Trapper Rogers for years but they had to settle for a drum machine to get their point across. They had a half-dozen songs, but they didn’t feel they had a full band yet. 
“Why are you always wearing black gym clothes?” quipped Chambers, after consistently seeing Murff dressed like a gothic Bruce Jenner. “Cuz I’m Dave Lombardo and I practice drums a lot,” snapped Murff in retort. An hour later, Murff had 6 songs in his email inbox, and after giving them a listen, joined the group. IRONSERPENT immediately began writing new material. 
Thus began a confluence of creative forces that spawned a metal band that cuts against Portland’s doom metal-scape and threatens to bring a healthy dose of creative destruction to the scene. Less than a year after forming, IRONSERPENT released their first full-length record, ‘BLOOD ARCHITECT,’ on their own. “We just wanted to be bold and put a complete record out immediately,” says Harris. 
As 2014 ushers in a world population of 7,100,000,000, IRONSERPENT aims to convert as many people as possible into fans, whom they fondly refer to as “Serpents.” 
They currently play out in the Pacific Northwest, and the Serpents just can’t get enough.
