Prometheon started as just being a studio project album mostly made up of Steve Losurdo's unused material from when he was the bassist/frontman of Psychopath. Friends John Miuccio (former guitarist of Psychopath) and Dave Reid (Drummer of Perpetual Burn and Producer of this album "The Experiment") were asked to do solos. Skot Suncrusher (vocalist of Cymatics and Psychopath) was asked to do vocals.
As the project progressed, more ideas started to come out. After the album was completed, it was then decided that we could form a new band. As far as right now (3/16/14), members include Steve, Dave, and Skot. A bassist and drummer are yet to be announced but have likely been chosen.
Prometheon takes a fresh step into the metal scene with collaborative ideas and enthusiasm. We hope everyone will enjoy the new sounds and performances of this band. We are all very excited.
