英国技术死亡金属乐队，成立于2013年年底。
Auraelis was formed under the name "Ascension" in Bristol in late 2013. Their sound includes fast and technical melodic thrash riffs with shredding solos on both the guitar and bass guitar, along with growling death metal vocals and fast thrash rhythms on the drums. They are influenced by classic bands such as Megadeth, Metallica and Iron Maiden as well as newer technical death metal bands such as Obscura and Necrophagist, along with a progressive metal influence from bands such as Symphony X and Dream Theater. Also present is the groove metal influence of Pantera and Machine Head.
After forming in the late months of 2013 under the name "Ascension," the band gigged extensively in Bristol playing with bands such as The Sun Explodes, Absolva, Valis Ablaze, and Endeavour. They began recording their debut EP "Colours of Impurity" and decided to change the name of the band to "Auraelis" shortly before it's release, as there will multiple metal bands already called "Ascension." The EP was released on 19th September 2014!
