FUTURE AFTER A SECOND (FAAS)是一种新型的嗜神经病毒，在2014年被发现存在于台湾北部，以音乐爱好者为宿主，尤其是叛逆和追求声音极限的个体。FUTURE AFTER A SECOND 病毒主要通过强烈的音波攻击来感染宿主。它们的声音具有金属核般的锐利和速度，会经由听觉神经入侵人类脑部，引发极度亢奋的状态，刺激肾上腺素飙升，让人忍不住想要甩动颈椎并在后期完全进入脖子甩爆的状态。
宿主被感染初期通常是透过重低音和扎实的吉他音墙破坏防御系统。病毒释放出具有破坏力的鼓点和带有锐利文字的嘶吼，使宿主无法抗拒。
后期进入深度感染状态，侵蚀脑神经后，FAAS带来的真实和反叛精神会完全占领宿主意识，使人感受到前所未有的自由，精神状态将不停随著音乐共振，目前无任何已知的治疗方法。

FUTURE AFTER A SECOND (FAAS) is a new type of neurotropic virus, first discovered in northern Taiwan in 2014. It primarily targets music enthusiasts, particularly those who are rebellious and seek sonic extremes. FAAS mainly infects its hosts through powerful sonic assaults. Its sound, sharp and fast like metalcore, invades the human brain through the auditory nerves, triggering a state of extreme excitement and causing an adrenaline rush. This leads to uncontrollable headbanging, ultimately bringing the infected into a frenzied state of neck-snapping intensity.

In the early stages of infection, the host's defenses are typically broken down by deep bass and solid guitar walls. The virus unleashes destructive drumbeats and sharp, aggressive vocals, making it impossible for the host to resist.  

As the infection progresses to a deeper stage, FAAS begins to erode the neural pathways in the brain. The raw energy and rebellious spirit it brings fully take over the host's consciousness, making them feel an unprecedented sense of freedom. The mental state will continuously resonate with the music, and as of now, there are no known treatments for this condition.
