Opening what is an exciting & passionate collection of summer releases from No Dough, we have a record which is a celebration of musical percussive techno, presented on a warm palette of textured sound designed to push you ever onwards through the night. Showing an accomplished understanding of the dynamics of Techno and infused with a little chunky House flavour, Towie has produced an EP which provides a meandering and intriguing sonic experience whilst keeping you firmly...on the dancefloor. In Caraka, we have a deep and looping beat, dominated by a large skip in the bassline rhythm that’s almost jackin in its eccentricity. The next track although similar at first glance takes a much more chizzled and refined approach, building a groove over time. As the name suggests the main theme for this track is a strange almost cat like piece of synth programming. Driving the track on into the 2nd half we have an almost playful melody, quite expertly slotted in to bring the track to its climax. Lastly, we have a remix from a long-time friend of No Dough Music, but this is the first time we have had the pleasure to release his work, from Sportclub, Kompakt and Karmarouge we’re proud to present a remix from Axel Bartsch and we hope to bring you more of his work in the future. He creates an epic journey of luscious atmospheric hooks and echoing effects backed up with a super solid Techno beat, this song rattles along at a high pace. Building the energy throughout with modulating synth's and percussive roll's, this one will surely be a favourite in the bigger rooms this summer!!....
