A wonderful package of mysteriously beautiful electronic disco with a severe touch of wave class, sounding as if they all just came from outer space. O rides along a Giorgio Moroder-like minor-key synthetic track draped with haunting, fragrant vocal textures to deliver an incanted declaration that develops devotional themes with mythical, elemental dimensions to reveal an almost-obsessive singlemindedness. The lyrics have a hypnotic, dreamlike quality to them with hints and connotations of sublimated ritualistic occult-like betrothal. This lyrical approach couples with the somnabulistic textures within the music bed with a sympathetic sense of dreamy reflection. This is an excellent, lyrically rich and seductive track and a wonderful exercise in marrying lyrical atmospheres to textures of music, a clear change in persona for you, and an excellent example of creative collaboration in action. O comes in three parts, with five amazing remixes by SpAceLex, Peacekeeper, Antoni Maiovvi, Enjoyed, The Ghost that Walks and two John Carpenter-esque instrumentals. What a ride!
