CIRQUE’s debut offering CODA, a four tracker devoted to instrumental bass & breaks, jazz & hip hop influences throughout. Dirty bass-lines, snippets of synth and offbeat samples sit alongside deconstructed piano licks. The mood is laid back but sombre. As a duo CIRQUE’s production technique breeds a certain air of conflict born from their different approach to construction, this in our minds here at Shlunk is no bad thing!
