Calapez returns on Fortek with 3 stomping Techno Tracks. On his second EP he turns in 3 whopping, wholly visceral techno cuts. The relentless guttural throb of “Bold Move” is offset by dubby synths and spacious atmos. This is complemented by the more static tones of “Greenpool”, a reverb-laden throbber with menacing sonar sounds piercing the swampy atmospherics. Last tune is the excellent rattling “A Little Pale” with Echochord like synth dubs and amazing deep sounds. Calapez proves again to have intriguing long-term potential.
