Best things in life come as a surprise, so when we spoantanious decided to work on the re-edits and remixes for Kreon and Lemos 'Greatest Hit’s EP'. We did not know the result would be so perturbative. Basti Grub, Nhow Nhow as well as Kreon himself dealing with the vocals and the result is awesome. You still don’t know the original ? Back in 2007 when everyone was still rattling the „minimal“ bell Resopal Red released this awesome fusion house, jazz driven tracks. Now as the label’s celebrating ten years anniversary in 2012 we think it’s time for a reload. So, what’s cooking in the pan ? Basti Grub delivers an extremely hypnotic and abysmal reedit, a house tunnel with no end, where the night becomes club: a 'f**k the dancefloor' shout! The other rework is done by our beloved NHOW NHOW, who just released his debut 12“ for Clap Your Hands. Their unique style here is rawer, blending chicago house & techno for a full & shaky dance affair, including vocal samples, fatty bass and a diabolic sense of groove, complete with all kinds of furious snippets. Kreon himself delivers a quite reduced, back to basic twotwelve remix of the original and there’s as well a remastered 2012 version of nice day. We think you’ll get very pleased with this package.
