Katie studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, California. While attending school, she wrote music and started to make a living as a studio singer. Some of her credits as a vocalist include: CONNIE LOU in The Forgotten Carols, the Anniversary Edition, and Connie Lou's Christmas; SARIAH in The Ark; as well as two of her own CD's featuring her original material: What I've Done Right (2001) and KT LIVE (2006). Her acting credits include originating the roles of CONNIE LOU in The Forgotten Carols and SARIAH in The Ark; playing the roles of The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing..., Female Singer in Stand Up Shakespeare; and performing in the staged reading of Piece at the NAMT festival, as the role of 36. Since her arrival in New York City in January Katie has performed with Broadway's biggest stars in Broadway's Acoustic Soul, Diva's Live, and Monday Night's New Voices, and is often slated to perform at The Duplex, The Laurie Beechman Theater, and other venues in NYC.
