Gothenburg bliss-poppers Little Dragon will follow 2007's excellentself-titled debut with Machine Dreams, a new album for Peacefrog onAugust 17.According to vocalist Yukimi Nagano, these days, humans seem more andmore like machines, and as technology evolves, machines feel more humanand it becomes fuzzy and beautiful and science fiction-ish. We feeldependent on our machines to create and live, and their sounds reflectus. So we guess you can expect a movement towards a more electronicsound. Their first album was one of 2007's most underratedfull-lengths; a slick Portishead-indebted pop number featuring one ofthe year's highlights in 'Test'. They were also pretty ace when wecaught them at Sonar last summer.The first single from the album will be titled 'Feather', and will bereleased either very late August or early September.
