Naumachia was started by Armand in 1999 in Wyszkow, Poland.Naumachia is a Latin word (ναυμαχία \u002F naumakhía) literally meaning naval combat. In the ancient roman world, naumachia referred to an event where prisoners had to fight in arenas at sea. Imagine an Amphitheatre and gladiators\u002Fprisoners at sea with boats, cannons, blood and crowd.In the end of November 2005 in the studio Hertz Naumachia recorded the album Callous Kagathos which was released on 15 January 2007. After the release of Callous Kagathos Naumachia started with the promotion of new album: Sulfur Tour 2007\u002F08 and Rebel Angels Tour 3 \u002F 2008.
