It's easy to see rebellious Claire secluded in her room, jamming to the Dandy Warhols' cagey Bohemian Like You, while, say, Nate and Brenda devour an expensive bottle of Pinot Grigio while listening to the ethereal buzz band Zero 7 (Distractions) and muted dance-floor beats from Lamb (Heaven). These are songs that mesh with, rather than intrude upon the scenes of L.A.'s other dark side.
