Well, this kinda came out of nowhere: Next week–a week from tomorrow, in fact–the Old 97′s will release a four-song covers EP, called Mimeograph, via New West Records. The album, which comes before the band’s planned double-album release this fall, finds the old Dallas favorites covering The Rolling Stones, The Fratellis, REM and David Bowie.
