With its latest release Unsigned, Suite 88 delivers a sonic miscellany that plays like a mixtape of rock heavyweights. From the aggressive, Pantera-esque breakdown of “Bring It On” to the Clapton-tinged blues ballad “Tell Me It’s Over”, the album delivers on many levels and showcases remarkable versatility for such young musicians. Band members, each born in ’88, consist of frontman Mike Gunns, guitarist Kolton Lee, bassist Vic Toon, and drummer Jesse Clutch.
