by Ed RivadaviaHaving failed to ignite America (or anything else, for that matter) once again with a commercially-minded album, Saxon did another stylistic u-turn. Rock the Nations featured a slightly rawer sound, a return to anthemic (yet pointless) rockers, and the usual incompetent and unconvincing ballads. Perhaps the only thing of any interest on this desperate album is a guest piano performance by Elton John (who was recording next door) on the aptly titled Party 'til You Puke.
