Cobra Juicy marks the enigma known as Tobaxxo's return to his pseudo-collaborative effort Black Moth Super Rainbow, and it is a grand return indeed. Recording, producing, and marketing the album himself was undoubtedly a trying task for Tobaxxo, but the record itself leaves the listener hoping that he puts himself under this much pressure for the next record, as well. Cobra Juicy is Tobaxxo's finest work to date, expertly merging the sounds of BMSR and his solo material into a sonic landscape dripping with gooey analog synths and hypnotic house beats.
