The music is an intertwining of the masculine and the feminine, via a robotic, 80s electronic sound, with an undercurrent of haunting Industrial music. Inspired by artists like Depeche Mode and Kate Bush, Vivien Glass have taken the essence of elegant electronic 80s music and married it with their own melodic, yet tough style, for a dynamic 2013 sound. The band’s effortless style seeps through into all aspects of their creativity. Whether it be their direction of their own romantic, film noir tinged music video for lead single ‘Julius’, or their exciting live performances, complete with; strobes, smoke machines and dramatic stage costumes.
