Lurking Loops creates impressions of a contemporary, meditative urbanness.The music is inspired by of the many trips to the East by the band'scomposer and pianist, Bruno Steffen, who also brings his experience as aimproviser, composer of film music, jazz musician and singer of Indiandevotional songs (bhajans).There are relaxed grooves containing Indian tabla (drums), polyrhythmicpatterns with subtle complexity, as well as lyrical melodies, improvising,sequenced synthesizer loops, oriental samples and the sound of the clearvoice of the band's vocalist, Sarah Abrigada.
